Panicked Aussie biscuit lovers have been left fearing the worst after Arnott's Raspberry Shortcake biscuits disappeared from supermarket shelves. They have reportedly been missing since October.
"Guys has anyone seen Arnott's Raspberry Shortbread bickies anywhere?" one Redditer asked on the forum's "Sydney" thread.
"Have they been discontinued?? The shops in my area have been sold out for months."

"Yes I know slightly more pressing matters at hand in the world, but… they're my fave."
One Redditer claimed they had been discontinued, however Arnott's Australia reassured 9honey Kitchen their absence is temporary.
"We have recently experienced some supply challenges with our Raspberry Shortcakes, but I understand from the team that stock has left our warehouses and should be on shelves within the week," they said.
Arnott's Australia didn't explain what these supply challenges are.

Annually, Australians consume more than 4.5 million packs of Raspberry Shortcake biscuits.
More than 88,000 Raspberry Shortcake biscuits are made per hour, which is approximately 1500 per minute.
For those unable to wait for their return, Redditers suggested checking retailers such as Officeworks, The Reject Shop or Catch, which may still have some older stock.

Other desperate biscuit lovers have turned to Coles and Woolworths home brand and bakery alternatives.
Coles has their alternative Jam Fancy alternatives in stock for just $1.50 per pack.
Woolworths is selling their alternative Raspberry Tartlets for $2.60 per pack.
In the bakery section, Coles is selling Coconut Drops with jam for $4.70 per packet.
Woolies' closest bakery version is the Jam Drop Biscuit selling for $4 per packet.
Earlier this year it was Arnott's Nice biscuits that went missing from supermarket shelves.
Arnott's Australia told 9honey Kitchen this was due to a "temporary delay in supply."
Once again they didn't share the cause of the delay.
"Rest assured, our delicious Nice biscuits will be back on supermarket shelves in the coming weeks after experiencing a temporary supply delay," they said.
