Thermolators® from Conair Group built with the options you need

Proper temperature control is vital to plastic processing: molds that are heated to the right temperature are instrumental for manufacturing better parts with improved quality and lead times. The professionals at Conair Group know that plastic processors rely on high-quality temperature control units, which is why we have our TW-Series Thermolators® with different features for different facilities’ needs.

The TW-B, TW-E, and TW-T Series Thermolators® from Conair each offer different levels of features and product options, depending on what plastic processors need.

TW-B Series Thermolators®The TW-B Series Thermolator® is designed to maintain the process temperatures by circulating cooling tower or chiller water, and internal heaters provide rapid pre-heating of molds and dies.Some of the features and options available for the TW-B Series include:• Built-in pressure gauges: These are standard for all Conair Thermolators® with the TW-B Control.• Built-in sediment trap: This can settle contaminants away from the pump seals.• Incoloy heaters: Minimizes chemical and high temperature damage.• High-efficiency pumps: We offer industry standard cast iron pump impellers and silicon carbide pump seals on all models.• Auto-relief: Eliminates water puddles on the shop floor by using the cooling valve of the Thermolator® to relieve pressure.• Compressed air purge valve: Quickly evacuates fluid from the process circuit, allowing for faster, cleaner disconnection of the temperature controller from molds and hoses.• Stacking rack: Plant managers can save floor space by stacking single-zone Thermolator® units two-high.

TW-E Series Thermolators®

The Thermolator® TW-E Series maintains the Conair reliability with a laundry list of available options, which can be as basic or premium as you want.

Some of the features and options of the TW-E Series include:

Built-in pressure transducers: Pressure is displayed on the HMI, and the control regulates the pressure as part of the Auto-Relief feature.• Adaptive max setpoint: Automatically changes the maximum setpoint to respond to plumbing pressure and desired setpoint.• Incoloy heaters: These minimize chemical and high temperature damage• High-efficiency pumps: Industry standard cast iron pump impellers on all models. Brass impellers and castings available for non-ferrous applications. Silicon carbide pump seals are standard.• 300°f {149°c} construction: Used in high-temperature applications such as medical and packaging• Corrosion resistance package: Protect components from damage with bronze or stainless external fittings, bronze castings, non-ferrous pump impellers, and stainless-steel heater flanges.• Closed circuit with brazed plate heat exchanger: Offers greater performance, greater capacity, and less pressure drop than competitor's shell and tube heat exchangers.• Medline: Includes corrosion resistance package as well as traceable calibrated RTDs.• Process supply check valveAlarm packages: Call attention to alarm conditions with red alarm strobe light and dry contacts.

TW-T Series Thermolators®

The Thermolator® TW-T Series is a top-of-the-line temperature control package with extensive options for maintaining the process temperature with circulated water that has been heated or cooled to the required setpoint.

The TW-T Series offers consistent temperatures, extended range of capacity, and performance monitoring all in one unit, saving energy and increasing efficiency while the new smaller footprint saves valuable floor space.

Some of the features and options of the TW-T Series include:

Built-in pressure transducers: Pressure is displayed on the HMI, and the control regulates the pressure as part of the Auto-Relief feature.• Incoloy heaters: These minimize chemical and high temperature damage.• Modulating cooling valve: Eliminates water hammer issues with consistent temperature control• Trending data: Follows the performance of the machine using temperature trends and flow rate trends• Compressed air purge valve (mold purge): Quickly evacuates fluid from the process circuit, allowing for faster, cleaner disconnection of the temperature controller from molds and hoses.• Corrosion resistance package: Protect components from damage with bronze or stainless external fittings, bronze castings, non-ferrous pump impellers, and stainless-steel heater flanges.• Alarm packages: Call attention to alarm conditions with red alarm strobe light.• Stacking rack: Save floor space by stacking TCUs two-high. The stacking rack can be used only with single-zone models.• Closed circuit with two brazed plate heat exchanger sizes: Offers greater performance, greater capacity, and less pressure drop.• Communications options: SPI via RS-485 (Ethernet for ModBus-TCP & OPC-UA come standard).
