Inside guitar god John Mayer’s incredible custom motorhome worth more than £400k
GUITAR god John Mayer's incredible custom motorhome worth more than £400k has been revealed.
The 37-year-old artist shared a picture on Instagram of his luxurious off-road vehicle manufactured by the Colorado firm EarthRoamer.
John Mayer said in the post: "I am a proud owner of this most formidable go-anywhere, live-anywhere vehicle. One year and many meetings in the making, she's all mine.
"Completely hand built in Colorado by extremely talented and innovative men and women. Who knows where I’ll end up next."
The house-on-wheels includes various storage cabinets, a bathroom, a shower, a kitchenette, and seating for up to eight people, including the driver.
Underneath is an F-550 sports four-wheel drive and a potent 6.7-litre Power Stroke diesel V8, producing 300 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque.
The motorhome includes a complete kitchen with an expresso machine, a sink, a stove and a spice rack.
And Mayer decided to install a big fringe and plenty of storage units to fit camping supplies.
Above the sitting area, there's a massive king-size bed to make travellers feel at home.
The company's website says: "Adventurous people who appreciated good design, engineering and craftsmanship which were frustrated with the limitations and poor quality of traditional RVs immediately embraced the EarthRoamer XV-LT, and sales grew rapidly."
And EarthRoamer insists that their vehicles aren't RVs and are instead XVs or 'Xpedition Vehicles.'
This model starts at £227,148 but can reach up to £402,745 - depending on the customer's requests.
This comes after a woman converted a Land Rover into a luxury off-road motorhome with an indoor shower.
Plus, a woman converted an old school bus into a luxury motorhome for less than £20,000 - and she lives in it full time.
